Workshop with Dave Crossland

// Understanding fonts
The designer Dave Crossland helped us understand the good side of type design, and the use of the free software FontForge; How it can be applied to our work and how such a simple method of designing fonts could increase the quality of one's work.

Even fontforge is the most used software to design fonts, inkscape would also work as it is a software designer for vectors and illustration, similar to illustrator by adobe, the software I was used to.

Challenging but useful, a font can easily be designed as I consider it to be a software perfectly accessible even for beginners and young designers.
FontForge tutorial by Dave Crossland proving how accessible it is and how one can easily get used to it.
